This was the only anime in the Spring lineup that I was really not in the mood of watching. However, after rescuing a girl by the shore, an impending danger is about threaten their everyday lives. It’s a popular bakery and their bread brings smiles to people. The plot is about Rick and his co-workers: Airy, Neris and Amil as they spend their normal lives running a bakery. I’ll be reviewing Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan now.Ī twelve episode anime about baking bread and spending time with people you love.

Xiao-Mei gets super quiet which means she is up to something. So they take EVERYTHING while everyone is like meanie heads. Hank finds something that looks like it could control his robot when suddenly the soldiers from Happy Go Lucky Castle arrive. On shore they examine the contents slowly. Eventually they manage to break most of the boat and almost drown but get the huge box out of the ocean. Since that is what he thinks his robot was pointing to with her lasers the other day he comes along. But they see Hank’s factory on the hill and decide to bother him. The rope keeps breaking and they have sad faces. After no one cares about her dying they try again. She nearly drowns but at the last moment Xiao-Mei saves her. She is sent to tie a rope around the box but gets stuck. For some reason Neris goes into the ocean and finds the huge box. So Xiao-Mei rents a boat and out to sea they go. Xiao-Mei decides since Rick is not from that area and that she doesn’t care the whole ocean/eat thing doesn’t count. HOWEVER she has heard an interesting rumor today (you know, the one that was told to Neris) about some sunken treasure. Xiao-Mei declares the necklace to be pretty cheap.

While they walk on over to Xiao-Mei and her antique shop she apparently owns Hank’s….doll wakes up and starts talking cryptically. Rick decides to ask the nurse permission to borrow Kaguya’s necklace. Apparently the power of bread compels her. Neris and Rick go on over to the clinic to feed Kaguya like a dog. He is thinking back to the shining times and how he needs to find what her light was pointing too. Hank is handing out with his captive who apparently is a DOLL and not a real person. Grandfather is like never take from the sea what you can’t eat so apparently that ends the conversation. The resident cat humanoid named Xiao-Mei dances up and wants to hear the details. Grandson is like I saw something sparkly in the water lets go get it. She runs across the grandson and grandfather. For some reason Neris is handing out the bread today and she does so in typical WEEE fashion. How dare he defend someone!! Also Amil is sad because maybe she doesn’t know Rick as well as she thought. Amil is only working half-heartedly as she thinks back Rick and the sword the other night. Everyone sets to work making the AMAZING bread. A grandfather and grandson are done fishing for the day (WTF?!) and the grandson sees something sparkling in the water. As they walk to Madera bakery they walk past the ocean. She is far the most effective her frying pan and Rick is scared for all of the frying pans of the world. Episode Summary: It is Neris’ turn to wake up Rick.
